Manhood 2.0 is a gender-transformative, community-based program—based on a completed research study—associated with the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Young men, ages 13-19, will learn about nonviolence, respect and healthy sexuality from a trained facilitator. Overall, the program duration is 18-hours, which generally meets once per week for three hours.
There is no cost to attend Manhood 2.0. Furthermore, all youth who attend will receive a meal, as well as $10 for staying the entire session. For those youth who attend four of the six sessions, a certificate of completion and a letter from the Mayor of Pittsburgh will be issued.
