PittServes

Coordinating services opportunities for students in the community

PittServes is a university-wide initative that engages University of Pittsburgh students in meaningful service to the community on a local, national, and international scale. PittServes will work with the Hill District Community Engagement Center to engage student volunteers in initiatives at local Homewood organizations through their days of service and additional programming.

Days of service and programming include:

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day: School-wide day of service. (1/20/20)
  • Be A Good Neighbor Day: School-wide day of service. (Tentatively scheduled for 3/28/20)
  • iServe: Students from the Computer and Information Sciences Department with specific technological skills spend a semester working with a non-profit to assist with their technological needs.
