The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) Wellness Pavilion, a University of Pittsburgh Community Engagement Center (CEC) in Homewood, has started the Wellness Pavilion Clinic initiative, a partnership with Primary Care Health Services aimed at supporting the health and well-being of the surrounding community.
The Wellness Pavilion Clinic offers a range of clinical and rehabilitation therapy services for free. These services will be administered by SHRS program faculty and students training to become clinicians in these fields.
Available Services
- Aphasia Therapy: Small and large aphasia therapy groups
- Audiology Services: Hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, discussion of results and recommendations
- Chiropractic Care: Comprehensive chiropractic treatments to support spinal health and overall wellness.
- Physician Assistant Care: Primary care consultations.
Schedule of Services - By Appointment
- Aphasia Therapy:
- Small Groups: Group 1: 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., Group 2: 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. No referral required. Registration required.
- Large Groups: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. No referral required.
- Audiology: Every Tuesday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Appointments scheduled on the hour for 60 minutes. No referral required.
- Chiropractic: Service dates to be determined. No referral required.
- Physician Assistant: Service dates to be determined. No referral required.

These services are available at no cost at the Wellness Pavilion in Homewood to ensure that everyone no matter their age in the community has access to the care they need.
