Celeste Schantz has worked in a wide range of advertising and digital marketing spaces for over 10 years including copywriting, email marketing, display ads and social media management. Her experience with branded and custom designs brings a compelling intensity to her role at the University of Pittsburgh.
As Communications Specialist for the Office of Engagement and Community Affairs, Celeste creates content and designs innovative copy and strategic marketing initiatives for the Greater Hazelwood Neighborhood Commitment and provides additional communications support to the Community Engagement Centers in Homewood and the Hill District. Prior to her current role, Celeste worked in both corporate and non-profit organizations as a brand manager, entrepreneur, writer, and asset designer.
Receiving awards for leadership at Invision Human Services and serving as a volunteer advocate with 412 Food Rescue, and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Celeste has a deep commitment to enhancing collaborative relationships amongst organizations that seek to identify barriers and bring innovative opportunities to Pittsburgh communities.
